1• It consist of six paired ( Inferior nasal concha, nasal bone, maxilla, palatine bone, lacrimal bone, zygomatic bone) and two unpaired bones(Mandible, vomer)

2• Composed of dermal bone.

3• Omnivorous

4• Chin present.

5• “U” shaped mandible(no midline present)

6• Dental formula :- 2:1:2:3

7• Total bones :- 14
